Welcome to Gibsons Creek RV Resort & Campground. We are pleased to offer short-term stays under a License to Occupy. This license is not a tenancy agreement and is governed by the terms below, consistent with guidelines set out by the British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA).
- Water pressure is between 90–150 psi. A water pressure regulator is required for all RVs.
- Sites include 30 or 50 Amp power, potable water, and a 4” threaded sewer connection. Guests must ensure airtight sewer connections.
- Bathroom access code will be provided upon check-in.
- Check-in: 3:00 PM / Check-out: 11:00 AM
- Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (no loud music or generators allowed)
- Guests and visitors must comply with all posted rules.
- Pets must be leashed. Owners must clean up after them.
- Respect nature: no damage to plants/wildlife; stay on trails.
- Open flames are not permitted. Only propane appliances allowed.
- Smoking is only permitted at designated locations (east ravine trail).
- Wildfire sightings must be reported immediately by calling 911 and alerting staff.
- Food and scented items must be stored in sealed vehicles or bear-safe bins.
- Use bear-proof garbage bins; no trash in bushes.
- Bear encounters must be reported. Do not run—back away slowly and make noise.
1. This agreement is a License to Occupy and not a lease. The Residential Tenancy Act does not apply.
2. This license grants permission to occupy the designated RV site for recreational purposes only.
3. The license is personal, non-transferable, and revocable by management at any time.
4. License term is temporary and must be renewed in writing every 6 months or less.
5. No permanent structures (e.g., decks, sheds, fences) may be built or installed. Temporary accessories must be approved and removed on departure.
6. Use of site for residential, employment, business, or mailing address purposes is prohibited.
7. The license may be terminated at any time with 7 days’ written notice, or immediately for violations.
8. Guests are responsible for maintaining a clean site and following campground rules. Non-compliance may result in termination.
9. Management may refuse to renew a license at its sole discretion.
10. Insurance for RV units and personal property is the sole responsibility of the guest.
11. Guests agree not to disclose license terms, fees, or correspondence to third parties without written permission. Breach of confidentiality voids the license.
By staying at Gibsons Creek RV Resort & Campground, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Camping involves inherent risks including wildlife encounters and uneven terrain.
- You release the campground and its owners from liability for injury, damage, loss, or death.
- You agree to indemnify and hold the campground harmless for any claims arising from your stay.
- You are responsible for emergency medical arrangements and agree to call 911 when needed.
By completing your booking or occupying a site, you agree to all terms of this License to Occupy, including the rules, waiver, and responsibilities outlined above.
