The coldest months are typically December through February, with temperatures rarely dropping below 35°F (2°C)  The town is situated near sea level, meaning snowfall is generally minimal. The resort is located at elevation about 200m or 600ft above sea level and south facing.  Gibsons experiences an average of 6.5 snow days per year. Snowfall is relatively light compared to other parts of British Columbia.
